Ingredients:
2 cups of all purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup of granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/2 cup of milk
1 cup of mixed nuts (cherries, pineapple, apricots, etc. )
1/2 cup walnuts (walnuts, pecans), chopped
1/4 cup candied cherries, cut in half
1/4 cup candied green cherries, cut in half
1/4 cup candied red cherries, cut in half
preparation:
Preheat the oven to 163°C (325°F). Grease and flour a bread mold.
In a medium bowl, sift the flour, baking powder and salt.
In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy. Add the eggs one by one, beating well after each addition. Insert vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with milk, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until everything is combined.
Incorporate the mixture of nuts and nuts until evenly distributed.
Pour the dough into the prepared mold and smooth the surface. Place candied cherries on top to decorate.
Bake for 70-80 minutes, or until a chopstick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the mold for 10 minutes, then transfer to a grating to cool completely.
