Ingredients:
2 pounds ham, cubed
1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into pieces
2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups chicken broth
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon olive
preparation:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until translucent.
Add the cubed ham to the skillet and cook until slightly browned.
Transfer the ham mixture to a crockpot.
Add the green beans, potatoes, chicken broth, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika to the crockpot.
Stir well to combine all ingredients.
Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the potatoes are tender.
Stir the mixture occasionally to ensure even cooking.
Once done, adjust seasoning if necessary and serve hot.
