• 1 cup water
• 1/2 cup vegetable oil

1. Prepare the Cake Batter:
• In a large mixing bowl, combine the confetti cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until well combined, following the instructions on the box.
2. Prepare the Crock pot:
• Lightly grease the bottom and sides of the crock pot with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
3. Cook the Cake:
• Pour the cake batter into the crock pot, spreading it evenly.
• Cover the crock pot with the lid, but place a paper towel under the lid to catch condensation. This prevents moisture from dripping onto the cake.
• Cook on low for 2.5 to 3 hours or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
4. Prepare the Vanilla Frosting:
• In a medium bowl, beat the softened butter with an electric mixer until creamy.
• Gradually add the powdered sugar, 1/2 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition.
• Add the vanilla extract and 2 tablespoons of milk. Continue to beat until the frosting is smooth and spreadable. If needed, add the remaining tablespoon of milk to reach the desired consistency.
5. Frost and Serve:
• Once the cake is done, turn off the crock pot and allow the cake to cool slightly in the crock pot.
• Carefully remove the cake and place it on a serving plate.
• Spread the vanilla frosting over the top of the cake.
• Add sprinkles on top for decoration, if desired.
