Ingredients:
1 lb chicken breast, cubed
1 cup orzo pasta
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
preparation:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
Stir in orzo and reduce heat, simmering for about 10 minutes until orzo is tender.
Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until creamy. Return chicken to the skillet.
Serve garnished with parsley.
